Plenary Meeting 3 Pre-Work Meeting Towards Excellence, UNIDA Emphasizes the Importance of SDGs-Based Programs

Universitas Djuanda (UNIDA) held the 3rd Plenary Meeting in preparation for the XVII Pre-Work Meeting (Muker) on Tuesday, September 17, 2024. The event took place in the Auditorium of Building C at UNIDA as part of the ongoing preparations for UNIDA’s XVII Muker, following the 1st and 2nd Plenary Meetings held earlier.

The meeting was attended by UNIDA Chancellor Prof. Dr. H. Martin Roestamy, S.H., M.H., UNIDA Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hj. R. Siti Pupu Fauziah, M.Pd.I, along with the Vice Rectors, Chair of the UNIDA Academic Senate Prof. Dr. Ir. Dede Kardaya, M.Si, Chair of the UNIDA Supervisory Board Samsuri, S.E., M.Si, and faculty leaders from across UNIDA, who presented reports in preparation for the Muker.

In his address, Chancellor Prof. Dr. H. Martin Roestamy, S.H., M.H. emphasized the importance of having various programs at the study program and university levels related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to achieve excellence and build an international standard.

“In the future, we will hold an International Conference to achieve excellence, themed around the maritime economy and SDGs,” he stated.

Meanwhile, Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hj. R. Siti Pupu Fauziah, M.Pd.I, encouraged faculty members to submit their program reports to the Vice Rectors after presenting their achievements. This initiative aims to align faculty programs with the Vice Rectors’ work plans, allowing different elements to adopt and complement each other for more comprehensive results.
